Review of units 1--5 Activity 3 and Activity 6课堂实录
 
实验中学李琳
Review of units 1—5是人教版新目标八年级下册的复习单元,复习前五单元的语言知识,Activity 3主要针对unit 2进行复习,Activity 6主要针对unit 3进行复习。本课的教学目标是使学生通过活动,运用语言,提高学生的综合语言运用能力,并掌握一定的复习方法。本节课的教学设计以新课程理念为指导,尊重学生的主体地位,突出自主、合作、探究的学习方式,体现了“语言点呈现——梳理归纳——练习巩固”的基本步骤。下面是本节课的教学实录。
 
一、疯狂英语
T: Hello, boys and girls.
Ss: Hello, Miss Li.
T: Do you love English?
Ss: Yes, I love English very much.
T: Now please follow me loudly to tell me you love English.
T: I love English.
I can speak English well.
If I can, I can.
I learn, I’m happy.
I learn, I’m confident.
I’ll succeed.
The students follow the teacher twice loudly.
(设计意图:让学生像李阳一样“疯狂英语”一下,一是在最短时间内拉近与学生的关系,二是让学生振奋精神,集中精力,三是帮助学生尽快进入英语学习的氛围中。)
 
二、呈现、梳理第一个知识点
T: You will have an exam in a week. Do you want to have better grades?
Ss: Yes, I want to get better grades.
T: I think I can help you. Today we will have a review of units 1—5.
(设计意图:通过讨论学生即将来临的期中考试,导入今天的学习内容。)
反思:我对自己的这一段对话是满意的,轻松地使学生进入英语学习的课堂,并又使学生在一定压力和动力下,展示出对本节课的学习热情。
T: I know you love English and you also love your life. But do you have some problems in English learning or in your life?
Ss: Yes.
T: Can you tell me your problems?
S1: I always fight with my best friend.
T: Who can give her some advice?
S2: You should write a letter to your friend.
T: Do you think it’s a good idea? (turn back to the first student)
S1: Yes.
T: You should say thank you to him. What other problems do you have? (face all the students)
S3: I can’t learn English well.
S4: You should listen to English CDs often.
The teacher ask anther student, but the student say sorry. The teacher tell him it doesn’t matter and he can listen to others carefully .
反思:因为对学生不够熟悉,随便点了,可是这个学生不会,我借此告知他可以认真听别人说。我觉得学困生需要真诚的对待,我觉得我这点做的比较好,理念需践行在平时。
S5: I don’t know….
(这个学生想表达但又表达不出)
T: Don’t worry. You can speak in Chinese.
S5: 我不知道单词的意思。
T: I don’t know the new words in the text. Please say it again.
反思:教师的作用就在于引导帮助学生,我给了帮助,如果能引导一下让学生自己思考说出来而不是重复老师的话是否更好?
S6: You should often remember the new words.
S7: You should watch English movies.
T: Do you think they are good ideas?
S5: Yes.
T: Now let’s conclude the sentences of the giving advice.
The students say the sentences and the teacher write on the blackboard. Then let the students read and remember the sentences and take some notes.
反思:教师的引导作用又一次体现,让学生总结,梳理交流这个语言知识,发展了学生的思维,并教会学生总结这种学习方法。
(设计意图:这个步骤主要是根据学生的实际情况,设计情境,激起学生对unit 2知识的回忆,唤醒记忆,呈现知识,梳理归纳知识。)
 
三、设置情境,运用第一个知识点
T: Just now you did very good jobs. Please open your books and turn to Page 42 and look at Activity 3. (The teacher read the comments and the students listen and understand) Do you know suggestions?
Ss: 建议
T: Right. It means advice. Now please work in groups of 4 and write down the advice.
The students work in groups and the teacher walk around to offer help.
T: OK. Have you finished?
S1: He should be more outgoing.
S2: He should be more friendly to others.
S3: He’d better get more outgoing.
S4: He should communicate with others.
T: communicate with means talk with.
S5: He should get on well with others.
T: Do you know get on well withWhat does it mean?
Ss: 友好相处
反思:捕捉资源,利用资源,扩充好词好句。
S6: He should help others.
S7: He needs to play with others.
反思:总共有七个学生回答问题,可是句子结构基本相同,我应该在学生回答的基础上加以引导,说出更丰富的句子。
T: I think you have a lot of answers. Now you can work in pairs and communicate with your partners. Go.
The students work in pairs and the teacher walk around to offer help.
The teacher ask three pairs to act it out. Then the teacher ask one student: which do you think did the best?
反思:这个细节可能没人注意到,但我觉得把评价权交到学生手上,应该是我们努力的方向。
设计意图:这个步骤是通过书上的Activity 3交流对话,重新运用语言,提高学生的语言综合运用能力。)
反思:整个大步骤,踏踏实实走来,基本实现设计的初衷,效果整体不错。
 
四、游戏导入第二个知识点
T: Boys and girls, you did very good jobs. Now let’s play a game and have a rest. I will ask three students to come here and do some actions and one student to go out of the classroom.
Three students do different actions and one student go out of the classroom..
The student came in.
T: Hi, boy. What’s your name?
Ss: Cheng
T: Mr Cheng, right?
(All the other students laughed)
反思:不知道学生的名字,学生说了又没听听清,赶紧补充了一个“程先生”,意想不到的效果出现了,学生哄得一声笑了,课堂气氛很好。
T: What was she doing when Mr Cheng came in?
Ss: She was singing when Mr Cheng came in.
T: What was he doing Mr Cheng came in?
S1: He was clean the desk Mr Cheng came in.
T: He was clean or cleaning?
反思:纠错及时,学生在互动中反馈纠错。
T: What was he doing Mr Cheng came in?
S2: He was carrying the chair when Mr Cheng came in.
T: OK,together.
The students repeat together.
(设计意图:学生学到这个时候已经累了,一是放松休息一下,二是导入第二个知识点的复习)
反思:预期效果很好,学生很快乐。乐中学,学中乐应该是我们追求的目标。并且让一名学困生参与到游戏中,让他感受到课堂的美好。
 
五、创设情境,运用第二个知识点。
T: Look, what’s this? (The teacher draw a UFO on the blackboard.)
Ss: It’s a UFO.
T: A UFO landed in our school lask week.. ( All the students shout wow and laughed) It’s true. I saw three aliens get out of the UFO. (The teacher draw a chart on the black board and fill in the chart). 反思:表格教学在这里起到了很大的作用。Please open your books and turn to Page 42 and look at Activity 6. Read the sentences by yourselves and understand them.
The students read the sentences and think.
T: What was Wang Jun doing when the UFO landed?
S1: He was studying. (The teacher fill in the chart.)
T: What did Ma Yan see?
S2: She saw the aliens playing football in the school hall.
(The teacher correct the pronunciation of hall and fill in the blank.)
T: What was Liu Ming doing?
Ss: He was eating lunch.
(The teacher fill in the chart.)
T: Look at this chart. Can you say something? A UFO landed in our school lask week.
The teacher give a beginning. The students say the sentences together.
T: You will have one minute to say it by yourselves. Take your time.
The teacher ask two students to retell the story. 反思:复述句子和课文对作文教学意义极大。Then all the students say it again, while the teacher write some sentences on the blackboard.And the teacher help the students conclude the structure of the composition.反思:让学生自己说出作文结构,教会学生写作方法
T: If you meet this kind of the composition, you can use the structure. Today’s homework is to finish the composition. So much for this class. Thank you. Class is over. Bye-bye.
Ss: Bye-bye.
(设计意图:本步骤是上个步骤的延续,在过去完成时呈现后,通过一个具体的活动,让学生运用语言,并进行写作指导。)
反思:语言内容和写作教学有效地结合起来。写作本来是难点,学生最害怕的,通过一个具体的情景,让学生先说出来,然后教会学生结构,学生在无负担的情况下运用语言、运用语言,很轻松。
 
 
自我反思
 这节课完成了预定的目标,我觉得比较满意的有:
第一,调动了学生参与学习的积极性,引导学生成为课堂的主人, 他们有感而发,有感而说。
第二,学生自主学习比较成功,在学习过程中,老师并没有参与,而把主动权会交给学生,充分相信他们,肯定他们。学生的展示可谓精彩纷呈,达到了预期效果。
第三,学英语,运用语言,在情境中交流沟通,在乐中学,学中乐,是我授课的一贯宗旨,在本节课中师生语言都能体现这一点。
我认为值得反思的有以下几点:
第一,教师有种急于推进的情绪,在唤醒知识的过程中有点匆忙,刚上课时没能真正唤起学生的积极性。
第二,课堂耐心不够,问题提出之后,应该给学生充分的时间去思考,组织,应该学会享受课堂上的沉默与空白,因为那时虽安静却是学生思维在流动,在碰撞,在创新。这一点,我做得不够好。
第三,看了教学录像才发现自己的教态不够好,容易弯腰,随便的动作太多。另外语言很活泼,但不够多样化和丰富化,而且语音不够优美,降调太多,语音听起来很僵硬。以后要加大语音的练习力度和教态的改变。
