 T: Let’s begin our class. Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, Ms. Yuan.
T: Please read the sayings.
No pains, no gains.
Where there is a will, there is a way.
Nothing is difficult if you put your heart into it.
God helps those who help themselves.
Learning without thinking is a dangerous thing.
Put your heart into your study and you will make progress.
(反思:每天课前几句谚语,一方面是对学生的激励,另一方面也是对学生课外知识的拓展。优美句子的积累为写作奠定了良好的基础。因此升入初三后我一直坚持这样做。)

T: There are different types of food.What kind of food do you prefer?
   I prefer food that can helpstay healthy.
    I prefer food
  that is good for my health.
    I prefer food
   that is well cooked.
     I prefer food   that is sweet.
    I prefer food
 that looks nice.
     I prefer food
 that smells good.
     I prefer food
 that tastes good.
Help students to make sentences.
(反思:这一步的设计是个导入,一方面复习定语从句,另一方面为课文的学习奠定基础。讨论喜欢什么样的食物。不过学生对于well cooked不很熟悉。)
T: This class we will learn unit 6 I only eat food that tastes good.Look at Linda's diet and Jack's diet. Do you think which diet is healthier? Why?
S1:Linda's diet. Because she eats healthy food.
T: Good . I think we should eat healthy food to keep healthy.
通过看两个学生的饮食习惯对学生进行德育教育。)
T: Read quickly and answer the questions.Look at the pictures.
S2: How important is keeping healthy?
S3: Three students.
(阅读课最重要的就是教会学生阅读,培养他们的阅读能力,因此这一步的设计遵循了阅读的规律,先泛读,理解课文大意。先感知后立即。)
TRead through carefully, then find out Peter, Tony and Laura’s ideas about the food that they prefer.
Students read the text slowly and find their ideas. Get three students to write down the answers on the blackboard.
(这一步是精读课文,让大家找出中心句来理解课文,学生找的不够全面,还需要进一步指导,或许小组讨论会更好一些。。)
TThen answer the questions . T or F.
   1. Peter only eats tasty food.     T
   2. Tony prefers to eat much fried food.   F
   3. Laura never eats sugar.      T
   4. Peter loves to eat meat that’s well cooked. T

(通过回答问题进一步加深课文的理解。)

(小组调查把文章提高了一个层次,通过大家的调查熟悉句型,了解饮食习惯。)

(最后一步的心灵鸡汤是对学生进行的情感教育,关心健康,为自己,为家人,为爱你的人。)
