Teaching steps:
Step1: Revision:(复习where引导的定语从句)
T: Where would you like to go on vacation?
S: I would like to go to Kunming.
T: Why?
S: Because I love places where the weather is warm.
Step2:继续强化定语从句
More important thingsI love places where:
the people are friendly.
the food is delicious.
the weather is nice.
it has a long history.
there is much to do.
there are many places of interest.
I don’t like to go somewhere … .

Step 3: Work in groups
Step 4:Brainstorm a list of things that are important to you when you go on vacation
Step 5:Listening:
Play the recording. Then ask them to fill in the blanks and check the answers with them.
1) Check the answers and solve the problems.(Ask some good students to explain. Then the teacher helps.)
2) Listen to the tape and repeat.
3) Read.

Say , Today we’re going to learn a new unit . In this unit we will learn to talk about the words about place you would like to visit .
1. Ask some students to say in the front of classroom
2. Using the flash pictures to share the comparatives and help students cultivate the spirit of loving motherland.
3. Show the pictures to ask students to tell what they see.

教后反思:
这节课以新的课程理念为指导,教学设计和组织上注重了以下几个方面。
1.能结合英语课程实际和省优质课堂的教学方向,紧紧围绕学校提出的五环自主课堂教学模式,层层展开
2.良好的开头对一堂课的成功与否,起着关键的作用。本堂课一开始,教师就用图片导入新课,使学生的注意力在最短的时间里被激活,而且使学生学会了大量的词汇。
3.教学方法灵活,新单词呈现形式多样。应该说整堂课中,在引入新词时,都是比较新颖而又自然,而且具有生活化的。还注意利用实物,图片,身体语言,表情动作等作为教学资源,创设讲解,操练和运用英语的情景。
4.能贯彻以学生为中心的原则,关注教学过程,尽可能发挥学生的主体作用,让学生真实的去感受知识,体验知识,积极参与,努力实践,在活动中学会用语言表达交流,较好的体现了从不懂到懂,从不会到会,从不熟练到熟练的过程。
5.训练方式多样,有全班活动,师生互动,小组活动,双人活动,个人活动等,在活动中突破难点,在活动中发展能力。句型的操练面广,练习次数多,而且还调动了每一个学生的参与热情。
6.课堂容量大,部分学生接受困难。时间分配有点前松后紧,听力处理仓促,课堂小结不足,定语从句的运用上学生的问题还很多。
